About Me

Independent consultant with 18 years of experience in law and economics advisory, policy-making, strategic advice to Ministers, Boards, CEOs and senior executives. I specialise in infrastructure reform, energy transition advice, public sector efficiency. My advice is underpinned by strong economic modelling and financial analysis skills and advocacy skills.

Projects

• Advising on the economic and financial implications of emerging energy technologies and the costs, benefits and optimal path for the energy transition
• Regulatory strategy for regulated firms, and major customers of regulated firms.
• Policy development and economic regulation design for governments, agencies and regulators. For example, as Chair of New Zealand Government's Technical Advisory Group on water reform (2023-24).
